Ian Bonnett, Technical Director

Ian has technical and commercial responsibility for AREVA RMC initiatives for the UK New Build programme.

Ian has international nuclear industry experience and has led multidiscipline technical teams delivering new build processing plants from concept design through to commissioning. Ian has specific technical expertise with safety engineering, tritium handling and isotope separation.

Ian is experienced in organisational development and product commercialisation in line with international best practice in the nuclear industry. He has a talent for analysing problems, developing and simplifying processes and finding innovative solutions while meeting industry and customer requirements. Comfortable at presenting at executive board level, he also has a proven ability to motivate, energise and effectively lead multidisciplinary teams.

Jenna Cramb, Director - Operations South

Jenna is responsible for the technical operations of the Abingdon office, overseeing the work of approximately forty staff that provide scientific and engineering consultancy to the nuclear industry. She has experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams and has over fifteen years' experience in the nuclear industry and an in-depth knowledge of safety cases over the full lifecycle including hazard identification, design basis analysis, probabilistic safety analysis, demonstration of compliance with As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) and Best Available Techniques (BAT) assessments.

Jenna's clients include the Atomic Weapons Establishment, GE Healthcare, Radioactive Waste Management Directorate, and the UK Atomic Energy Authority.

Dr James Fitzpatrick, Project Director

James has over thirty years' experience of working mainly in the nuclear industry, in particular in decommissioning, waste management, safety & risk assessment, consequence assessment and peer review.

James has also provided expert advice to a number of decommissioning and waste management projects on behalf of the IAEA. He continues to provide expert advice and guidance to the company and its' key clients.

Sarah Greenwood, Commercial and Business Development Director

Sarah has responsibility for improving sales and services by strategically driving the business forward. Sarah is a skilled communicator who manages complex client relationships. Sarah's technical expertise lies within waste management, environmental and decommissioning consultancy.

Helen Higgs, Director

Helen is responsible for AREVA RMC's Human Resources and competency management as well as supporting AREVA's skills strategy for the UK. Helen is on the board of National Skills Academy for Nuclear and its sub committees. She is a Chartered FCIPD and Chartered FCIM and lectures in aspects of management at several universities.

Julian Hyde, Managing Director

Julian is responsible for all aspects of financial management and control within the company. He previously occupied senior managerial positions with Deloitte and Touche International and Coopers & Lybrand, carrying out financial and operational audits, providing detailed analyses of financial risk and issuing recommendations for reduction of risk.

Julian is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, as well as holding an MBA. His university studies were in engineering. He has a wide variety of international experience, including work across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

James McGuigan, Project Director

James has over thirty years' experience in the nuclear industry with in-depth knowledge of safety cases, site licensing, radiological protection, emergency planning and the regulatory requirements for nuclear licensed sites. He serves as an external member of a number of safety committees and continues to provide technical expertise to specific projects.

James' clients include the Atomic Weapons Establishment, British Nuclear Group, Devonport Royal Dockyard, GE Healthcare, Ministry of Defence, Radioactive Waste Management Directorate, and the UK Atomic Energy Authority.

Don Richardson, Project Director

Don has over thirty years' experience in the nuclear industry and has led the production of safety cases, options studies and strategic studies.

He has been involved with security risk assessment procedures, safety compliance assessments at nuclear licensed sites and health and safety compliance assessments for the rail network. Don also acts as Safety Officer for Radioactive Waste Management Directorate, preparing policies, arrangements and guidance on conventional health and safety.

Mike Rowbottom, Director - Operations North

Mike is responsible for the technical operations of the Northern Offices, overseeing the work of approximately forty staff that provide scientific and engineering consultancy to the nuclear industry. He is a Chartered Chemist, a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and is also a chartered member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.

Mike has in excess of twenty years' nuclear safety consultancy experience during which time he has been involved in the production and peer review of safety cases and modification documentation for the majority of the UK's nuclear facilities, both civil and military.

He has fulfilled a number of senior safety consultancy roles including being an independent member of the Dounreay Nuclear Safety Committee, advising on all aspects of working on a nuclear site licensed by HM Nuclear Installations Inspectorate. He has represented the UKAEA Director of Safety on the JET Tritium Safety Assessment Panel and was involved in assessing all JET activities in preparation for its Tritium operations.

Mike is an experienced trainer and has delivered many training courses for UKAEA over the past fifteen years including ATO Holders, approved modification system, categorisation, safety case methodologies and safety assessment techniques.

Ian Wright, Project Director

Ian is responsible for Control and Instrumentation projects and has been involved in hardware and software safety assessments, the formulation of national guidelines and international standards for electrical/electronic/programmable electronic systems and has carried out many Safety Integrity Level assessments of safety related systems.

He has also been involved with the development of techniques and software tools for fault and event tree analysis, Monte Carlo availability simulation and seismic Probabilistic Risk Assessment. Ian continues to provide technical expertise to specific projects.
